Sport Massage
Sports massage is a form of treatment that is not only intended for athletes, but also for anyone who experiences physical strain, muscle tension, posture problems or body strain due to work and lifestyle in their everyday life. It is particularly suitable for people whose work is physically demanding, as well as office workers and those who spend long periods of time sitting. The treatment helps relieve muscle tension, improve posture and mobility, and reduce lower back pain, neck and shoulder stiffness. It can also relieve tension-related headaches.

My approach to sports massage is individual, and each treatment begins with listening to the client and observing their body. The treatment is always planned taking into account the client's muscle tension, physical activity, posture, possible imbalances, and the body's way of dealing with physical and emotional stress.
Treatment can have different goals:
Preparatory treatment before competition or training
During the preparatory treatment, the massage rhythm is more dynamic and activating. The treatment uses lighter and faster techniques, the aim of which is to stimulate blood circulation, increase oxygen delivery to the tissues, and prepare the muscles for the upcoming physical exertion without overloading them.
This type of treatment helps the body feel more ready, responsive, and mobile before training or competition.
Post-competition or training recovery treatment
The goal of recovery-focused therapy is to support muscle relaxation and recovery. Gentle muscle-relaxing and fluid-enhancing techniques help reduce tension, support the natural movement of body fluids, and promote recovery after intense physical exertion.
The goal of the treatment is to reduce muscle stiffness, muscle fatigue, and accumulated tension in the body.
Fascia treatment and therapeutic care
During the massage, I often combine fascia treatment with the treatment, as muscles and fascia work closely together and significantly affect posture, mobility, and quality of movement.
If necessary, I also use special heated fascia devices, the temperature of which can reach up to 50 °C. The heat helps to release deeper fascial tensions and relax the tissues more effectively.
If necessary, craniosacral therapy techniques, assisted stretching, or muscle activation exercises can also be combined with the treatment. These can be utilized, for example, in the treatment of the sacral region, the base of the skull, or broader challenges related to posture and body tension.
This way, the treatment can be tailored holistically to the client's individual needs and support the body's natural balance, mobility, and well-being.
During the treatment, I work with the client to understand which factors may be contributing to body tension or imbalances. In addition to sports and other physical activity, the assessment also takes into account work postures, stress, daily habits, and individual movement patterns.
The goal is to find the underlying causes of symptoms and support the body's function holistically, not just treat their consequences.
